This grandfather clock is my first large scale clock.  It is 6 feet tall and is constructed from quarter sawn white oak and quarter sawn red oak.  It features cast iron strap hinges, cast iron slide bolts, and a cast iron knob.  The clock dial is made of hand crafted embossed copper.  The clock motor is a simple battery operated quartz movement that requires no winding or maintenance.   The interior of the case provides four shelves for storage.
